KINDE is an entertainment & marketing agency dedicated to championing underrepresented cultures with a focus on youth & black culture. KINDE was established in 2018 by South Londoner; Michael Makinde who has an expertise in content development, a passion for entertainment and love for community.

 

He identified the need for uncommon perspectives in the UK entertainment & marketing industry whilst challenging the traditional agency set up. Originating from a Yoruba (Nigerian Tribe) descent, KINDE derives from the surname of our founder - “Makinde” which traditionally translates to “go to war, defeat the opposition and capture their leader” - essentially meaning VICTORY. 

 

We’re proud to work alongside some of the biggest & best entertainment brands in the world such as Disney, Paramount Pictures & Youtube to help push their boundaries of creativity whilst challenging the status quo with a focus on diverse audiences. We ALWAYS approach our work with a hustler's mindset: we commit to the challenge, we put in the work, we adapt quickly and we live to be victorious. Then we go again! We foster a culture that takes pride in creativity & innovation towards our work, where the words “CAN’T” & “DON’T” have been cancelled.

 

Having only been established since 2018, we were recently awarded a Rising Star Award by The Drum Awards for “bringing a unique tone of voice into the industry” and we look forward to creating a legacy like no other.
