STORY
PURPOSE
Blue Story Movie is a feature length film by Rapman and backed by Paramount Pictures & BBC films. It tells the tale of best friends Marco & Timmy who go to the same secondary school but live in Peckham & Lewisham respectively. The two wind up on rival sides of a never-ending South London postcode war after Marco is beaten up by Timmy’s childhood friends.
With the film touching on relevant issues going on in our community today, Paramount Pictures tasked us to find a way to communicate the key messages around this film to the local communities.





INFLUENCE
We decided that our best approach would be to go into the communities ourselves by creating a physical presence on the ground in order to raise awareness & build buzz around the movie.
One week before release & dressed in Blue Story customised hoodies our team set out to inspire & inform the communities about the film & its key messages.
We curated street teams to go out into key locations around the UK including Coventry, Birmingham, Stratford and Brixton. Most importantly communities in Peckham & Lewisham were covered from schools to barber shops. It was inevitable that the 2 areas in this movie would be our main touch points.
