CANNES LIONS FESTIVAL OF CREATIVITY 2018 OVERVIEW

Cannes Lions Festival is the largest gathering in the creative & marketing community, calling the world's most elite creatives & brands to Cannes in the south of France. 

Every year the festival brings people together to celebrate the power and effectiveness of creativity with the 2018 annual gathering inviting the likes of Naomi Campbell, Common, Tyler Perry, Shaquille O'neil and more all taking stage. 

In 2018 we were invited to attend the festival as our founder would represent us on a roundtable amongst other to creatives and moguls from across the world. The theme of the roundtable talks was "how to affect positive change through the power of creativity & networks.

 

The festival was one to remember with award winners such as Jay-Z & Roc Nation with their "Smile" music campaign and Uber, Lebron James & Kevin Durant with "Rolling with a Champion".  

THE MISSION

Our founder, Michael Makinde consulted charitable organisations such as Debate Mate, Malaria No More and others on how to creatively affect positive change through campaigns.  

 

Alongside other top creatives many ideas were developed which lead to our founder further consulting Malaria No More on a global campaign with David Beckham.
