It was a night to remember! A night which was to be the finale of a very successful collaboration between a music platform for upcoming artists and a youth marketing agency. After weeks of touring around the UK hosting cities such as Bristol, Birmingham, Sheffield & Leeds with performances from House of Pharaohs, Ammi Boyz, Daniel OG, Society of Alumni and many more talent; the finale at the Village Underground was not one to be missed.
With key performers on the line up such as Suspect, Society of Alumni, 808INK & Ryan De La Cruz the night was bound to be filled with energy with mosh pits in action and all sorts. I AM NEXT has hosted a number of shows in the UK which has seen event goers within urban youth culture turn up in numbers. The recent partnership with Livity saw two pioneers of youth culture align to produce an unforgetable experience that would be a topic in conversation for many days to come.
It was only right to host an event of this calibre in a trendy location within the heart of London. Performances from the upcoming collective Society of Alumni was just one of the performances that had the crowd vybzin that night as well as 808INK who had the crowd jumping to new heights. But to round up the night Suspect came out with his street league team to perform the best songs from his latest mixtape “Loading”. However the night took a strange but exciting turn when Suspect invited a guest artist to perform on stage with him. This guest just happened to be nothing less than our very own Prime Minister; Giggs. We can officially say this will be a moment that will go down in history. Suspect then went on to close the show with the song that shut down the clubs over the last year; 'FBG' which was followed by some words of encouragement from the I AM NEXT founder Seshie.
It’s fair to say that I AM NEXT and Livity put on a great show and we look forward to the shows I AM NEXT will host in the new year as well as what other projects Livity would collaborate with in the near future.
