BLUE STORY WORLD PREMIERe

The mission

Blue Story Movie is a feature length film by Rapman and backed by Paramount Pictures & BBC films. It tells the tale of best friends Marco & Timmy who go to the same secondary school but live in Peckham & Lewisham respectively. The two wind up on rival sides of a never-ending South London postcode war after Marco is beaten up by Timmy’s childhood friends.

We were tasked in supporting Paramount Pictures in the invitation of influencers & celebrities to a World Premiere at Curzon, Mayfair. Due to the nature of the film, our aim was to support the digital team by maximising the digital & cultural impact of the movie.

THE APPROACH

In light of what would be a cultural moment, our main focus was ensuring the event would have a ripple effect onto the wider community. We particularly focused on recent successes from Peckham & Lewisham amongst other key figures in the community. 

We welcomed the likes of Harry Pinero, Kenny Allstar & Jamal Edwards to a blue carpet experience and an early screening of Rapman's Blue Story. Our invitees were met on the carpet by the press/media we secured spots for including 2 of the UK's largest urban media platforms; SBTV & Link Up TV.
