Sole DXB is Dubai's biggest street culture festival that was originally a footwear trade fair. Since Sole launched in 2010 as a communication platform for all the latest in footwear, fashion, design and alternative culture in The Middle East they've aimed to inspire and encourage growth within the design and progressive fashion sector in the region.
Sole DXB 2016 with sponsors such as Pepsi, Nike, adidas, Cadillac and many more saw their greatest festival yet. With a line up including UK artists Stormzy, Skepta & Little Simz, the Dubai community turned up in numbers to celebrate this cultural entity. Nike created their purpose built basketball court whilst adidas entertained guests at their Future House and Pepsi attracted guests to their mini branded bowling alley. Fashion was at the forefront of the event with there being a lot to watch.
Hosted by Concepts Studios we managed the social channels prior to the event which saw over 20,000 attendees of the weekend. Communicating with sponsors prior to the event we built up momentum to the event through fashion releases and announcements which saw the IG account reach over 3000 new followers over the period of a month. Also community managing the region allowed us to adapt to a new market and tone of voice. Also travelling out to Dubai for the event hitting the ground running we managed the photographers and the live social feed of the event.
