SOLE DXB 2016 OVERVIEW

Sole DXB is Dubai's biggest street culture festival. Since Sole launched in 2010 as a platform for all the latest footwear, fashion, design and alternative culture in the Middle East, they've aimed to inspire and encourage growth within the design and progressive fashion sector in the region.

Sole saw their biggest festival yet in 2016 acquiring key sponsors such as Pepsi, Nike, adidas, Cadillac & many more. With a line up dedicated to UK talent such as Stormzy, Skepta & Little Simz, the Dubai community turned up in numbers to celebrate this cultural entity.

The attractions at the festival included Nike's purpose build basketball court & giant shoebox, adida's Future House & Pepsi's bespoke bowling alley.

THE MISSION

Hosted by Concepts Studios, we managed the Sole DXB social channels pre to post festival. This required thorough communication with key sponsors building the momentum through fashion releases & announcements. Community management was also key in driving engagement within the region.
