Red Bull’s Raise The Bar is a tempo switching rap cypher where MCs battle to win the energy in the room, and be crowned winner. We were tasked to lead and produce the cultural event and deliver an immersive experience for the audience.
Purpose
To elevate the competition element, we incorporated a boxing ring style stage where emerging rappers from London would battle it out over increasing BPM's across Rap, Grime & Drill genres. Winners were selected using a wristband voting system throughout 2x Heat Rounds & the Final!
We managed all production & visual elements, further engaging guests with an immersive photo / video booth consisting of a caged backdrop and a “hanging
mic” which was an enhanced take on the TikTok trend. This was complemented by a variety of poster art we designed throughout the venue.
We were also brought in for talent curation & management, securing Unknown T as the heat judge and performer on the night as well as discovering, selecting & on-boarding the 8x rappers. Plus we tapped in prolific host, MRIAMNEXT with DJ Jeeniuss to bring the vibes on the night.
